Notes:

Please bring at one or more pieces of your work or work-in-progress, or work you are ‘stuck’ on or not completely happy with. We’ll brainstorm, critique, and ask ‘what if?’

Supplies:

• big box of assorted fabric hand-prints, hand-dyes, or commercial
• pieces & scraps – variety of darks, mediums, lights, patterns, solids: small and large scale prints — the more varied, the better.
• 1/2 yd muslin
• sewing machine
• pencil or pen, a medium colored felt marker or two – paper or notebook
• ruler
• scissors
• seam ripper
• pins
• rotary cutter & mat
• a variety of threads
• batting
• 1-2 glue sticks
• several magazine pictures, photos, or other images that inspire or appeal to you

Optional

• 1 yd or more of fusible webbing if you want to fuse
• trimmings or embellishments.
• oil pastels or paint sticks
• small jars of textile paints, stamps and Thermofax screens if you have any
